Process Automation (PA) business is a key part of Sensia growth strategy. The Sr. Financial Analyst I will gain first-hand experiences with the application of RA technologies (PlantPAX, AAdance safety control system, Connected Production etc.) in Oil & Gas industry. Meanwhile, PA finance often faces complex and non-routine challenges that come with fast changing organization structures, market condition and technologies. This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop into Sr. Financial Analyst I.
This Sr. Financial Analyst I will report to the PA Americas Finance Manager. The qualified candidate will split their time in this role between FP&A responsibilities, business partnering and ensuring our accounting and controls are in place and operating effectively.
This person will assume FP&A responsibilities for PAB Latin America P&L, including orders, revenue, margin, labor recovery and commercial expense. The Sr. analyst will support PAB finance managers and the regional business leaders in decisions such as investment, productivity and resource allocation to grow Process business and manage cost through relevant financial analyses. The Sr. analyst will also collaborate with the broader business staff in global PA business unit, the PA global finance team and the other Sensia business units in Sensia HQ finance supports.
A successful candidate should exhibit self-motivation, critical and creative thinking, excellent communication skills, solid financial acumen and a desire to develop financial and business acumen. This role will require working within a fast pace, complex environment, therefore, flexibility and the ability to think on your feet will be key.
Responsible for monthly closing activities for LAR PA business. Understand, communicate and explain variance drivers within the business and identify root cause and action owners. Responsible for monthly outlook, quarterly forecast and annual budget cycles for LAR PA businesses. Oversee monthly financial project review meetings for LAR PA businesses. Identify risks and opportunities through communications with the business team and supply feasible recommendation to mitigate risk and capitalize on opportunities. Coordinates preparation of financial reporting and business review packages. Help finance manager to drive standardization & process improvement across all Process businesses in all aspects of planning and reporting, including best practice sharing. Act as a consultant to the all LAR PA business clients, such as project managers, solution consultants, and engineering managers, to help them understand the financial impacts of actions by various parties and make sensible decisions, providing value added alternatives with accompanying analytics. Review proposals and costing spreadsheets within relevant areas; review project closures in IFS Assist with internal and external audit requests Assist in managing unbilled revenue, project contingency and utilization and recovery Ad hoc requests from business management
