Executive Director of Enrollment Management & Marketing
The position of the Executive Director of Enrollment Management & Marketing leads the admissions and marketing teams. This position reports to the Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness & Enrollment Management.
The Executive Director will be responsible for providing leadership and coordination for a comprehensive enrollment management strategy that is consistent with the goals, mission, and resources of University of Valley Forge.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide leadership for the Offices of Admissions and Marketing, ensuring that enrollment goals are met
Create multi-year and annual enrollment plan, mapping out initiatives for each program within a recruitment cycle. Analyze and report year-end results and trends in applications, admissions and enrollment
Develop annual admissions forecasts and budgets
Weekly share with President and Admission staff – Inquiries, Applications, Accepted and Deposited numbers
Lead the Marketing Department to inform its efforts to develop multi-channel campaigns
Advise and project manage CRM communication campaigns, plans, workflows, and related CRM tasks to achieve enrollment goals for all programs
Focus on brand development and work with other departments including the President’s Office, Development Office, and Financial Services Office to reach enrollment, development, and other strategic goals
Manage and develop the University’s social media, website, and other digital media communications including working with outside partner companies and contractors
Oversee the daily operations of the Marketing Department, including managing the creation of content/deliverables and their external and internal distribution
Identify opportunities and implement processes to optimize applicant experience
Identify and executespecial projects that support program priorities
Lead the Admissions and Marketing staff in the organization of and participation in all on campus and off campus recruitment events
Manage resources by effectively budgeting and planning for multiple projects and priorities
Work Environment The work environment consists of exposure to physical conditions typical of a normal office environment. Most of the job is performed while sitting, although the work may require standing or walking and/or the lifting and carrying of small objects. Occasional travel should be expected.

Qualifications and Abilities
Ability to engage in strategic enrollment planning, data and trend analysis
Demonstrated administrative and management skills
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
Ability to effectively represent the University with external and internal audiences and stakeholders
Strong initiative and ability to devise solutions to complex problems and effectively manage multiple long and short term strategies and objectives is expected
Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor staff is required
Belief in and the ability to persuasively articulate the mission and values of the University of Valley Forge
Demonstrated project management skills to oversee several projects concurrently and meet deadlines effectively
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
Team-oriented, flexible, and customer-service oriented
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Skills and Knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience with CRM systems, budget oversight
Understanding of financial aid
Familiarity with SEO, digital media advertising, etc.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s required, Master’s preferred, with a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
Minimum three to five years of higher education enrollment management experience, private college or university preferred
