The International Project Manager, will work under the Director of International Strategic Initiatives and work closely with the VP of Business Initiatives and Alliances and the SVP for Faculty Advancement and Medical Affairs to provide project management support and coordination for initiatives related to existing international relationships. In addition to our Longwood Medical Area-based services and local community sites in New England, Dana-Farber is extending its reach globally by providing consulting, advisory and educational services to healthcare centers and organizations around the world, specifically in Brazil and China. The position will support programs and initiatives including on-site and off-site symposium, educational workshops, facilitating tumor boards and developing and tracking project timelines. This role will take on additional responsibilities and support existing relationships as needed. - Responsible for all aspects of assigned project lifecycle: planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery
- Schedule and facilitate project-related workgroups, assist in developing timelines, record action items and track project status
- Develop meeting materials (e.g., agendas, presentations, etc.) and other written materials for international visits
- Assist in coordinating travel schedules for DFCI staff and faculty for site visits, in collaboration with partner institutions such as Brigham and Women's Hospital and international sites
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional and cross-institutional teams (including nursing, operations, revenue cycle, IT, pharmacy, and others) to inform project implementation
- Manage and attend regularly scheduled tumor boards with international sites, including coordinating faculty schedules, monitoring case submissions, collecting and distributing case summaries
- Assist with the coordination of educational programs such as symposiums and events
- Assist with the coordination for international clinical observerships, including development of observer schedules
- Schedule various international project meetings and work with senior clinical and administrative leaders
- Coordinate faculty honorariums for participation in international activities and maintain tracking documentation
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 3 years experience in project management required; experience within a health care environment preferred
- Foreign language skills, specifically Mandarin, a plus.
