ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF EVALUATION , Sloan School of Management , to support evaluation strategies and implement initiatives in order to assess and enroll candidates applying to Sloan master's programs (MBA, MFin, MBAn, MSMS, and Sloan Fellows MBA), including strategic planning, execution, and outcome assessment. Will develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, e.g., Sloan faculty and staff, alumni, and vendors; serve as a member of the admissions committee; and participate in recruiting events. Responsibilities include collaborating in the development of and strategy for all evaluation activities; managing the development of an integrated evaluation calendar; acting as project manager for the decision-making process; reading and evaluating applications and conducting candidate interviews; managing weekly reporting of assessment outcomes during evaluation season; serving as waitlist manager; advocating for candidates who meet fellowship criteria; collaborating on oversight of the technology system used to support the evaluation process (Slate); identifying, developing, and initiating innovations and solutions where precedents/procedures may not exist; ensuring activities are well coordinated across the admissions team; and participating in other initiatives and with special projects as needed.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : bachelor's degree, at least two years' relevant experience, and at least one of admissions experience. PREFERRED : master's degree; evaluation/assessment experience; knowledge of MIT and Sloan; knowledge of admissions operations and evaluation and technology used to support these initiatives, preferably Slate; experience with predictive modeling, desire for advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, and knowledge of Tableau; strong project management skills, including experience with scoping and leading complex projects, setting priorities, meeting deadlines, motivating project teams, and managing budgets.
