Accounting and IT collide in this new exciting opportunity in our Finance/Accounting area for a customer focused individual to oversee and manage the use of technology to support the business processes of the Finance department, as well as, manage and support the financial reporting function for all internal and external reporting.
Qualified candidates will possess:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance and/or information services required; CPA preferred.
4-5 years of advanced financial report writing and/or systems experience utilizing SQL and BI tools required, preferably in the non-profit sector.
Experience designing and implementing new reports and processes through automation.
Must be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication, customer service and presentation skills with the ability to effectively explain reports, data, and processes in simple terms to non-financial end users.
Strong organizational, prioritization, problem solving, and project management skills essential.
Must have a foundational understanding of financial reports, business processes, and accounting workflows.
Strong technical acumen essential, with proficiency in MS Office, cloud-based ERP accounting and budgeting software (Acumatica and/or Adaptive strongly preferred), commonly used financial reporting and analysis tools such as SQL and BI tools, and the ability to learn and apply new technologies.
Some evening/weekend work may be required, particularly around month and year-end close.
