The Software Sales Pursuit Desk focuses on the FactoryTalk Innovation Suite/PTC product portfolio and other complex digital transformation software solutions. Consults, coaches and provides coordination assistance to Sales during Information Software and complex solution sales opportunity pursuits.
Manages, communicates and executes the Rockwell Automation disciplined process flow for the Software Sales Pursuit Desk.
Recognizes opportunities for continuous process improvement and provides feedback to the appropriate team(s) to address identified gaps (Business Units, Proposals team, Global Sales and Marketing, Sales Enablement)
Manages expectations with Sales Account Managers to lead the opportunity qualification and management process. If the opportunity is not yet a qualified target for the Software Sales Pursuit Desk or further Information Software engagement, then recommend next pursuit steps to those involved.
Provides sales pursuit strategy coaching to Account Managers and other members of the pursuit team.
Ensures assignment of proper pre-sales resources to support opportunities.
Assists in the escalation of sales opportunity pursuit issues in conjunction with Account Managers and Sales Managers.
Identifies and defines end-to-end sales lead to order entry business process issues and monitors resolution progress. Provides feedback to Business Units, Sales overlay teams, Sales Operations & Enablement, etc.
Supports the successful transition of opportunities to the Customer Success team
