Carroll White Rural Electric Membership Corporation (REMC) is a non-profit, member-owned, electric utility servicing members in nine counties from two facility locations. Carroll White REMC's mission is creatively enhancing our community through safety and service. RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Distribution System Engineer, you will provides engineering services on various distribution matters including borrowers, substation design, distribution studies, coordination studies, general distribution planning, specifications and compliance, equipment specification and purchase, co-generation/small power production, cost estimating, budget preparation, permitting, public hearings, relay and control design and protection. Including short and long-range work plans. You will be responsible for: - Promote and sponsor effective E&O technology use that can be throughout the entire coop, employees, and members
- Administer tariff designs and actively participate in new tariff designs - wholesale and retail
- Provide engineering review and assistance for member agreements
- Manage SCADA and load management system
- Manage pole contact records and billing
- Perform technical and administrative functions for trouble shooting analysis for power quality issues
- Managees the AMI and OMS and other suite of engineering resources tho their fullest potential.
- Effectively monitors and manages the coops's relationship with the G&T.
