| General Summary/Purpose:
Johns Hopkins Engineering is launching new instructional studios in fall 2020. We need a self-driven, responsible person with experience working with multimedia equipment and web conferencing systems to help manage four instructional studios from August 15 to December 20. The work involved includes setting up the Zoom meetings, training and supporting instructors in the use of the studios, troubleshooting issues with Zoom meetings and studio equipment, maintain a clean studio environment, and related administrative tasks. This is an on-site, hourly position. The position will report to a multimedia systems specialist and director of the Center for Digital and Media Initiatives. Note: This position is not benefits eligible. Note: Multiple positions available. Note: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship Specific Duties & Responsibilities: - Turning on and testing the studio equipment before each class
- Training instructors and supporting them during the delivery of the class
- Maintaining the equipment in the studio
- Keeping the studio clean throughout the day
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Minimum Qualifications (Mandatory): - High School Diploma/GED.
- Four years related experience.
- Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
