1) Expand our user community: specific tasks will include developing a comprehensive outreach strategy, vetting users and approving allocation requests, understanding emergent use cases or problem areas and synthesizing feedback to create momentum for platform change, reaching out to new users and improving user diversity in underrepresented communities via conferences, webinars, and presentations, as well as organizing user events, creating training/educational materials, and maintaining documentation/information portals. 2) Support innovation in experimental methodology: help our community to grow up as well as out by helping users build, publish, and discover sharable digital artifacts supporting experiment reproducibility, developing methods for sharing of education-related digital artifacts as well as training materials promoting efficient and reproducible approach to experimentation. 3) Liason for the DevOps community: OpenStack, experimental platform operators, and Chameleon Associate Sites (Chameleon cloud deployments independently maintained by other institutions); will likely include coordinating work with OpenStack project teams, working to identify potential partners, assisting in the rollout of new sites, and working with DevOps Lead on features of Chameleon's packaging of its cloud technologies. 4) Conduct general outreach: increase the visibility of the system via guest posts on influential blogs, popular press articles, user testimonials, and strategic use of social media.

1) Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, or a related field of science.

Technical Knowledge or Skills
1) Background in either programming or system administration. 3) Knowledge of Unix/Linux. 4) Familiarity with social media, collaborative, and marketing platforms. 5) IaaS cloud systems, such as OpenStack or Amazon Web Services, and relevant technologies.
