The Thoracic Imaging Division at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School is accepting applications for a one-year Thoracic and Cardiac Imaging Fellowship starting July 1, 2022. The Thoracic and Cardiac Divisions are in an academic hospital-based practice comprised of dedicated thoracic and cardiac radiologists. The radiology dept. has state-of-the-art-imaging, including digital radiography, CT, dual energy CT, MRI, PET/CT, PET/MRI imaging and a 3D lab in a complete PACS environment and performs more than 750,000 exams/year. Interventional training includes percutaneous needle biopsy and ablative therapies of the lung. Dedicated Cardiac Imaging experience in CTA and MRI is incorporated into the fellowship under the direction of Brian Ghoshhajra, MD and Nina Meyersohn, MD. Teaching and abundant research opportunities are available. The Massachusetts General Hospital is a level-one trauma center, cancer referral center, and burn center and has an active lung and cardiac transplantation service.
