The S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in Syracuse University is looking for an individual to teach VIS 207- Intro to Graphic Design. Class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-4:50pm in the fall 2020 semester (3 credits).
Course Description: Teach a beginning level graphic design class for students in advertising, newspaper, magazine, public relations, design and photography on the principles of digital design, composition, computerized layout, typography and imagery for print and web. Introduction to the computer as a layout and design tool for visual communications practice. Applicants should have substantial design experience in news, publication or advertising design.
