| Department: FE&P Controls Position Summary: The controls technician perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties to perform installation, programming, inspection, testing, and repair of pneumatic, electric, electronic, and digital control equipment related to air conditioning, fume hoods, exhaust systems, chilled and hot water systems, and other HVAC building controls. Should have or acquire the ability to troubleshoot and effect minor repairs on refrigeration systems. The position includes the efficient operation of HVAC controls and campus energy management system (EMS) to meet both comfort and conservation requirements.
