The Digital Commerce Senior Product Manager will be responsible for enhancing Wells Fargo's position in Digital Payments by providing leadership for individual product and feature concentration areas that may change as the market evolves. For these concentrations, your responsibilities will be to: develop the vision, strategy and roadmap; provide technology leadership to support delivery of the strategy; and manage the product lifecycle and end-of-life or other transitions as determined by market needs.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the digital payments industry, detailed knowledge of the different systems and processes that go into Card Not Present Credit Card transaction processing, understand the capabilities of mobile technologies, and effectively lead projects with cross-functional teams as well as provide oversight and guidance to his/her management and stakeholders.
Management of Credit Card payment products and services that enable secure eCommerce/mobile Commerce purchases. This includes evaluation, implementation, and program management of solutions that deliver a superior customer experience, while also helping to reduce fraud claims and improve authorization approval rates.
Managing 3-Domain Secure program for all Credit Card portfolios across 3 payment networks, inclusive of customer experience, enhancements, addition of new portfolios (co-brands), and measurement/control plan.
Implementing and managing new and innovative eCommerce checkout solutions. This includes concept evaluation, developing implementation strategies, launching MVPs, enhancements management, and performance measurement.
Leading new initiatives through intake and approval processes, develop business cases, and complete compliance and controls assessments.
Tracking and understanding market trends, including industry, competitive, and technology trends related to digital commerce.
Critical success factors will include the ability to lead and manage effectively in a matrixed organization, develop partnerships with all levels of the business and operational/functional areas, effectively communicate insights related to opportunities aligned with the Cards, Retail and Merchant Services strategic direction, and possess a customer-centric approach to everything you do.
**Preference for role to be located in one of the posted locations; however, consideration will be given to candidates across the Wells Fargo footprint.
10+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Product management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery or agile product owner
Strong presentation skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Ability to influence and collaborate at all internal organizational levels
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
Other Desired Qualifications
Proven track record of managing and delivering large, complex projects and delivering high quality results.
Knowledge of credit card transaction processing (authentication, authorization, tokenization), payment network rules, Card Not Present specifications, and digital customer experience.
Experience identifying root cause issues/improvement opportunities, and designing approaches and programs to address customer needs.
Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
