Have overall responsibility for the development and on-going management and support of FWD HK IT Infrastructure
Assists in the planning, implementing and supporting the new technology solutions and upgrade as appropriate
Assists design, and architect Server, Network, Database System administration and Data Centre infrastructure
Evaluates new information systems products or services and suggests changes to existing products or services to better aide the end user
Liaise with IT application, application architect and security team on the technical development of converged solutions and process to enhance the operations of services
Co-ordinate with the Server, Network Infrastructure, Database and Helpdesk team for management and support of FWD IT systems and services availability, capacity and 7x24 hours support for business systems.
Establishing strong relations and partnerships with major vendors and system integrators to work with them in maximizing FWD's investment in new technology.
Ensure the IT system/network infrastructure are fulfil compliance/security requirement
Putting in place continual service improvement plans which reduce the number of systems down time incidents, support calls and commonly reported problems
Assists in overall IT infra and service yearly budget and control the spending with-in the budget.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Degree holder in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent with more than 6 years of relevant experience which 2 years in managerial level
Holder of professional qualification(s) preferred, e.g. Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Redhat, ITIL foundation
Holder of professional qualification(s) preferred, e.g. MCSE(Server Infrastructure), Cisco CCNA, VCP, ITIL foundation and CISSP certification
Solid experience in MS Active Directory, MS Exchange, IIS, SharePoint, Apache, JBOSS, Linux, Cisco Network, Checkpoint Firewall, SSLVPN, Virtualization Technology (VMware ESXi, VDI), SAN Storage Management, MDM, Intune, O365, Web filtering solution, Server Backup & Recovery Solution
Project management skill is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
Strong problem solving, management and analytical skills with in-depth knowledge of Server, Network Infrastructure, Storage, Virtualization, DR Management and IT Security.
Strong knowledge in Mobile Apps & Web system Architecture.
Excellent communication / interpersonal skill, and able to work under pressure.
Understanding of IT operation of Insurance Company
Good command of written English and Chinese; fluent in spoken English
