JOB SUMMARY The purpose of this position is to provide CAD and Drawing Management support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Prepares and keeps architectural and MEP drawings up to date. Helps to maintain Drawing Management Database. Coordinate and support drawing/information requests. Coordinate and support the processing of system/asset O&M documentation. Other duties may be assigned

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE 5+ years AutoCAD experience and/or Associate's Degree (AA/AS) in CAD design
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES Training certificate/diploma in AutoCAD from accredited source is a plus
COMMUNICATION SKILLS Strong written/verbal communication skills. Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
REASONING ABILITY Detail oriented and analytical. Can evaluate complicated situations and use logical methods to generate an acceptable and comprehensive output. Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES Intermediate skills with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook & Word). Knowledge of drawing management databases and workflows. Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
Knowledge AutoCAD 2013 or newer, and Office 2010 or higher. Understands CAD standards such as AIA or ISA Strong understanding of architectural/MEP facility drawings and systems Familiarity of facility MEP system/asset hierarchy and related O&M documents. Computer and software savvy.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
