Our Customer Account Management (CAM) Team focuses on the customer and strives for operational excellence in servicing mortgage loans and home equity products for our customers.
The Business Support Consultant 3 role will be a subject matter expert for the Statements & Year-End Management Team within CAM specific to Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and Home Equity customer communication (ex: billing, escrow, and year-end tax statements, and IRS/state tax reporting). This individual will drive tax year-end regulatory, compliance, and enhancement changes and challenge the team and business partners to find more efficient and improved solutions and processes. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks at the same time are critical. This individual will report to Heather Russell.
The position will include, but not be limited to, the below functions:
Leads diverse functions and operations/production oversight for WFHM and WFHE
Collaborates with management, senior leaders, business partners, Consumer Control, Legal, and Corporate Tax on strategic, cost effective solutions and business performance improvement opportunities
Utilizes thorough knowledge of the business's functional areas and products to implement key initiatives for the business
Additional Responsibilities include:
Develops and manages line of business and partner relationships
Writes business requirements and test scripts, executes test scripts, resolves issues, and communicates with stakeholders
Acts as a liaison between line of business and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex problems to be solved with automated systems
Defines, analyzes, and audits business process flows, practices, data, and loan level detail, and suggests alternative solutions for process and data integrity improvement
Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective, meet business requirements, and mitigate risk
Provides direction and/or guidance to peers

6+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services demonstrated through work or military experience

Knowledge and understanding of MSP, Shaw, eCar, Hogan, AXCIS, default processes, and data tools
Demonstrated experience interpreting complex business needs and regulatory requirements and translating them into application and operational requirements and processes

Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: test plans, test cases, test procedures, creating and executing test scripts and evaluating expected results

Experience identifying key issues, connecting affected parties, designing solutions, obtaining buy-in, and communicating effectively through resolution
