Schedule : 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
Collaborates with cross-functional teams, training staff, internal customers, other departments and subject matter experts to gather complex content and simplify into results-oriented training, while meeting project deadlines.
Applies instructional design standards utilizing ADDIE/SAM model, including needs analysis, review of research, developing learning objectives and strategies, defining content, selecting appropriate learning approach and activities, sequencing content and activities, storyboarding, testing, surveying and overall course design to quickly deploy coursework.
Develops engaging instructional material and curriculum, coordinates, writes, and edits educational content, and incorporates technology into learning solutions. Develops and maintains up-to-date training for multiple programs and positions that supports the Boys Town Model and complies with Boys Town policies and procedures and regulatory requirements such as COA and state licensing requirements.
Researches and applies trends and best practices in learning technology and instructional design for continuous improvement of the Boys Town University learning model.
Establishes, analyzes, and reports on metrics for implemented curricula, current developments in learning theory, instructional strategies, classroom management, and curriculum development.
Performs support and limited troubleshooting in LMS such as API's, data feeds, data mapping, Active Directory, SSO.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
3 to 5 years of experience including instructional design, multimedia development and project management.
2 to 4 years of experience with design and editing applications such as Captivate, Camtasia, Adobe Suite, Articulate or similar.
2 to 4 years of experience working in a Learning Management System (LMS), preferably Cornerstone OnDemand.
1 to 3 years multimedia experience designing audio, video, graphic/media and or animation with an ability to edit graphics, audio assets, video to maximize learning impact.

Since the opening of Boys Town National Research Hospital in 1977, the hospital has been internationally recognized as a leader in clinical and research programs focusing on childhood deafness, visual impairment and related communication disorders.
