As a member of the Harvard T.H. Chan's School of Public Health Office of Career and Professional Development team, the Assistant Director of Employer Relations plays an important role in helping a diverse, international community of over 1,200 master's and doctoral-level public health students leverage their public health education and training in support of their career and professional development. The Assistant Director of Employer Relations reports to the Director of the Office of Career and Professional Development.

Graduate degree in a related field, such as higher education, student affairs, business or counseling strongly preferred
Five or more years of demonstrated experience in university relations, corporate recruiting, human resources, employer relations, business development, or relationship management preferred
Experience working with tools such as LinkedIn, CRM, and Symplicity preferred
Understanding of employers and hiring practices in one or more areas of interest to Harvard Chan Students (healthcare, biotech, pharma, global health, social and behavioral sciences, private and public sector) strongly preferred
Direct knowledge of public health, healthcare, and life sciences related career paths across industries and sectors is highly desirable
Aptitude and enthusiasm for acquiring knowledge on a wide array of career topics preferred
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Must be adept at thinking strategically and managing projects. Strong customer service orientation and capacity to engage with diverse stakeholders. Must be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team. Must be comfortable operating with virtual and remote work. Proficiency using a variety of computer software and systems preferred
