Under the direction of the Director, Business Services, and with oversight from President & CEO, the Business Development Strategist is responsible for building mutually beneficial relationships with vendors and supplier partner organizations in and outside of the association industry to maximize revenue in support of Association Forum strategic objectives.
Position Duties and Responsibilities include:
Existing account maintenance and renewals
Strategic Partnership Agreements
Sell in additional assets to existing Strategic Partners
Attend industry meetings on behalf of Association Forum as requested and approved
Provide progress updates to Director, Business Services on a weekly basis, at a minimum
Work remotely and on-site per direction of the Director, Business Services
Compensation for this position is commission only.

10+ years’ experience in sales and marketing in association industry; sales management preferred
Three to five years of marketing, communications and association management experience, preferably in membership marketing
Telecommuting is allowed.
