We are looking for a nurse to serve as a digital coach within our mobile apps!
The mission of the coaching team:
We empower women with evidence-based information because we believe knowledge makes them powerful self-advocates. We provide empathetic encouragement and support, because we believe every woman deserves to have a coach in their corner. We connect women with peers, community resources, and the best team of healthcare providers, because we believe healthcare works better when we work together. We strive every day to put women at the center of their family journey and help them to have the best possible physical and emotional outcomes.
Will eventually be 20 hours per week, but may start around 10-15 hours per week
Availability required includes days, evenings, and weekends
All training and work will be remote
Engage in conversations with app users, via in app messaging and via telephone to answer questions spanning fertility, pregnancy, and parenting
Provide empathy, support, and coaching based engagement with every interaction
Conduct community support searches to connect users to local care providers
Be willing to engage in other clinically relevant projects throughout the company, including but not limited to: clinical article development and review, external communications for the sales team, educational opportunities both internally and externally, and product development ideas
Be willing and enthusiastic to take on new challenges as they arise
We are looking for a coach that is eager to be part of a high-energy, innovative team that deeply believes big things are within reach with lots of determination, hard work, and laughter. A successful coaching candidate will have:
At least 3 years of experience working as a nurse, doula, or other maternal child health professional, with extensive experience supporting women during their fertility, pregnancy and parenting journeys.
Out of hospital maternity experience, such as in an office setting, home visiting, or as an educator
Expanded skills in any of the following categories: advanced fertility, midwifery, perinatal mental health, lactation, sleep coaching, parenting
An understanding of and experience with how Social Determinants of Health impact maternal and child outcomes
A proven commitment to birth equity
A keen eye for detail and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Adaptability; willingness to work in an ever changing, startup environment, with all the changes that come with that
Strong written communication skills
