Within Wealth and Personal Management, Broking Services provides full investment services in stocks, bonds, currencies, precious metals, commodities and derivatives to retail, corporate customers and financial intermediaries. As a leading full service broker dealer in Hong Kong, our investment services include advisory, execution, risk and portfolio management, custodianship, and margin financing.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Head of Dealing.
In charge of the Dealing teams and be responsible for all dealing functions, including day and night desks
To provide sales teams with effective and best execution services in trading of financial products provided by the Company
To monitor the dealing team to comply with internal and external policy and guidelines
To answer sales team's inquiries about the execution service
To follow up the transactions with execution broker and counterparties
To develop and maintain good relationship between execution broker and counterparties and the HSBC Group
Participate in projects and perform UAT if needed
Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the relevant business
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
Experience in managing trading desks of various investment products
Robust knowledge of risks and controls gained through working experience in dealing functions
Ability to evaluate and develop quality control frameworks
Ability to review processes, systems and apply technology to dealing issues or problems
Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation and written and verbal communication skills
Qualify for Type 1, 2, 3 RO licenses
