As a Housekeeping / EVS & Laundry Supervisor you need to know how to:
Focus on opportunities to facilitate the steady operation of the department by handling day to day procedures.
Measure the quality of work of EVS and Laundry associates to ensure quality meets department standards.
Oversee workload demand and flex labor to meet the demand and works with Dept. Director to create or modify systems to meet customer needs.
Interview, orient, counsel, mentor, train and evaluate EVS and Laundry associates.
Educate staff members in use of fire, disaster, and other emergency procedures.
Assist on the Security Team for disaster drills and emergencies.
Consult with the Department Director on decisions regarding product/supply mix and is supports budget maintenance.
Assist in EVS and Laundry responsibilities including, but not limited to: daily cleaning and/or project work of the department, washing, pulling, drying, folding, and feeding and updating the laundry tracking sheets on a regular basis.

High School Diploma or equivalent, required
Basic computer skills, required
Minimum of three (3) yearsâ™ experience in Environmental Services or equivalent leadership experience in another setting, required
Current Friends and Family Basic Life Support (BLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire, required
