We're looking for talented Microsoft Suite Product Experts to join DWP's exciting Digital Workplace project and become an integral part of one of the UK's biggest and most high-profile digital transformation programmes, a once-in-a-generation tech-driven reform of government products and services.
In Manchester we are looking for an Email/Outlook specialist.
As our Product Manager and subject matter expert you'll bring expertise in how users interact with email services, mainly Outlook but also secure email and discovery tools. Email is king for most of our users - you'll help us use our tools better and more effectively and take us to the cutting edge of email communication and collaboration.

By deploying new hardware and upgrading our software with the latest versions of Office 365, Skype and our rebooted staff intranet we're making sure our people have the right tools and the latest professional digital skills. And we'll keep evolving to meet the needs of our teams.
As a Microsoft Office 365 Product Subject Matter Expert you understand how our users interact with the Office 365 suite and help us get the most out of these most business critical products. You know and evangelise the features available to users, understand the user impact of changes and releases and you can produce communications and training materials to support users.
What skills, knowledge and experience do you need?
You're a leader: you'll lead on the Microsoft end-user technology roadmap and translate this into user impacts/benefits. You'll be leading, managing and developing your people, setting the direction for the content creation team to deliver learning materials to get people up to speed.
You simply deliver: you'll define strong use case scenarios for productivity and administration learning experiences and provide subject matter expertise to the training content development team around the Microsoft O365 productivity suite.
You have user-centric mindset: with a deep understanding of our users and their needs, you'll help them get the best out of the products they use.
You're on top of trends: you'll be responsible for providing recommendations based on in-depth research and determination of the options
You're an effective communicator: you'll be communicating with a range of people, inside the Department, in other Government Organisations, in external organisations. Also chairing internal meetings and representing the Department in meetings and in discussion, sharing knowledge, expertise, and best practices.
