The Role Responsibilities
Strategy and Approach The role holder will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, through its lifecycle, to agreed budget and quality:
Manages Insider Risk project(s) / change through the approved methodology and successfully delivers the scope with a disciplined approach to change control and zero tolerance for scope creep.
Responsible for managing the delivery of and providing direction within a project, working closely with the relevant business leads and stakeholders on a daily basis
Ensures scope, approach, solution design, timelines, costs, benefits and all other key aspects of the project are documented
Responsible for ensuring Group Standards are met
Ensures Accountable Executives and the Investment/Steering Committee is made aware of any material risks, issues, cost, benefit, and scope changes
Create financial baselines and track cost actuals in a detailed budget document for submission to ICS TRP PMO and Finance monthly
Manage project expenditure against budget as agreed in the project business case and project definition document or approval request
Work with the Project Accountable Executive to establish a Project Steering Group with detailed terms of reference, action logs and minute outcomes
Risk and Compliance
Prepare materials for governance meetings as required including Board quality presentations
Ensure that issues, risks and interdependencies are identified, managed and resolved and ensure a robust escalation process is in place where PMO, Accountable Executive and Project Steering Group are required to own mitigating actions
Ensure key person risks (BAU and project) are mitigated
Manage Project governance through delivery of detailed Work Breakdown Structures, Project Working Groups and Steering Committees Manage tools & information
Ensure all Project documents are audit ready at all times
Maintain Project Document Repository in SharePoint
Understand the project lifecycle and ensure all stages of the lifecycle are managed accordingly
Assist the PMO with Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs) and Benefits Realization Ownership handovers at Project closure Compile lessons learned to contribute to process improvement
People and Talent
Provide leadership, management and coaching to direct reports to ensure they are highly engaged and performing to their potential.
Promote and embed a culture of openness, trust and risk awareness, where ethical, legal, regulatory and policy compliant conduct is the norm.
Ensure the project team is adequately resourced and staffed by an appropriate number of competent staff to support HR strategy
Ensure each project role / resource has clear responsibilities, reporting lines, delegated authorities and objectives

Comply with the highest standards of regulatory and business conduct and practices as defined by internal and external requirements.
Understand and ensure compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations and guidelines including those governing securities activities, company law, anti-money laundering, terrorist financing and sanctions; the Group's policies and procedures; and the Group Code of Conduct.
Take personal responsibility for understanding the risk and compliance requirements of the role.
Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance matters.

The Project Manager may be required to lead a large, cross-functional team of Business Analysts, Product Engineers, Systems Developers, as well as partner with Product, Operations, Risk, Legal & Compliance and Production Support teams.

Experience working within ICS or Technology in the financial industry preferable
Experience in leading IT projects for financial services providers - ICS and relevant functional knowledge is an advantage
Knowledge of SDLC
Have worked in an international, dynamic organization
A proven track record leading successful projects
Deep understanding of waterfall / PMBOK methodology - AGILE is an advantage
Knowledge of Clarity as a Project Management Tool is an advantage
Evidence of prior experience managing and influencing stakeholders at Executive/Board level and providing high quality presentations and updates
MS Project skills
Advanced MS Office Suite Skills including SharePoint
Excellent communication skills - oral, written and presentation.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to adapt to different styles according to target audience.
Demonstrated competency in decision making and problem solving; resource management; conflict management; leadership; and planning, prioritizing and goal setting.
Ability to communicate complex information to stakeholders, internal resources, and recognize the decision rules involved in a process and articulate them in if-the-else format.
