JOB TITLE: Website & Digital Marketing Specialist
This is a full-time, fully benefited, non-exempt position.
REPORTS TO: Communications & Marketing Manager
A member of the communications and marketing team, the Website & Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for maintaining and updating the school’s websites, adding new pages and functionality as needed, working with key website contributors from each school department and division, troubleshooting website and user issues, and is a project lead for redesigning the sites when necessary.
The Website & Digital Marketing Specialist also elevates the school’s online presence by implementing web-based digital marketing.
Outstanding candidates will be able to gather, analyze, and present data from website analytics and metrics from online marketing campaigns to help determine the effectiveness of web pages and online campaigns.
The candidate must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and enjoy collaboration. Must be available outside of regular business hours, as needed.
Primary responsibilities include:
Website Maintenance & Support
Add and update content on public and private pages, including text, photos, videos, navigation changes, and new elements and modules
(using Finalsite CMS and occasionally CSS coding)
Coordinate and collaborate with each department and division on website updates and maintenance to keep site current and fresh
Train department contacts in basic website changes
Create new web pages and update existing layouts as needed
Update online directories
Create vanity URLs
Liaise with parent association on annual event updates and web page creation
Update calendars on the website
Support addition of potential future microsites
Troubleshoot constituent access to the website
Manage school YouTube channel, adding new videos and posting videos to the website
Create forms for website and emails that integrate with other online platforms used by the school
Provide analysis of website traffic to understand patterns and trends
Primary contact to Finalsite for customer support and resolution
Digital Marketing Support
Manage Search Engine Optimization for lhps.org
Gather and analyze web data to inform digital marketing strategies
Assist with implementing and updating online advertising campaigns (Google Ads, social media advertising, and targeted online campaigns)
Monitor online reputation and review sites for information about LHPS
Send all-school communications (bulk-emails) when assigned
Assist division directors with compiling and sending weekly director’s notes to parents (via upgraded communications template)
Facilitate ongoing technology integrations with the website
Represent website functionality and capabilities in meetings
Work with team to implement new software and communication tools to elevate digital communication efforts
Research new trends and offer valuable insights into the evolution of the school’s website and digital marketing efforts
Resize and optimize photography in Photoshop to fit specs of bulk email and website
Cross-training in social media platforms

Education & Experience
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting website and digital marketing efforts, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Exceptional candidates will have experience working with Finalsite CMS and basic CSS coding experience. He/she will also be a conscientious self-starter with excellent communication skills and creative problem-solving skills.
