The Role Responsibilities & Our Ideal Candidate
Business development in CCIB digital channels and data analytics, serves as a single client-facing centre of excellence to support sales and RM teams with enabling CCIB digital product integration, digital solution design (ensuring products and platforms meet client needs), as well as strategic partnership development (building out third-party capabilities) to enable superior digital outcomes for clients and SCB across CCIB business verticals. CCIB business development comprises digital client solutions, strategic digital partnerships, and platform partnerships.
Strategic partnerships will drive strategic digital roadmap, solutioning and product alignment with larger global new economy and fintech clients. Core to the role will be close collaboration and support for key business stakeholders across FM, TB, GB as well as operations and technology. Through leadership in solutioning and digital client coverage you will support and enable CCIB business and product lines to reach their growth targets and commercial objectives and ensure full alignment to CCIB digital and CCIB wide strategy and goals. Clear objectives and targets to drive overall digital roadmap and support business verticals to increase enabled revenue addressable wallet and wallet share through superior client outcomes and strategic alignment of resources.
The individual will play a supporting role in the digital transformation strategy for GBA. You will work in close collaboration with the team on client opportunities providing support on account planning, prioritization and marketing collaterals. The objective is to become the preferred digital banking partner for large and global new economy clients and global corporates. The focus would be the digitization of existing flows, deepening existing wallet share and origination new clients and flows. The scope will include team priorities to expand the existing product portfolio, tap Into new product/service offering from 3 rd parties and help CCIB digital develop new technology/infrastructure to broaden and deepen our product offering. The team will be global in span, cover the entire digital product estate, and partner with businesses across CCIB to deliver the firms strategic objectives through category leading client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities include
Work in close collaboration with team leads to support GBA & China initiatives Strategy Head to foster new business opportunities for our GBA region.
Provide support to GAM/RMs as Digital coverage of strategic clients/ high value accounts in the Greater Bay Area. Coverage will include the entire digital estate to deliver the digital firm together with GAMs/RMs.
Support GBA GAM/RMs to strategize and incorporate Digital roadmap into multiyear account plans.
Track initiatives and provide analytical work for opportunities spotting.
Collaborate with technology on capacity and feature development on strategic partner roadmaps
Assist in the evaluation of any new 3 rd party capabilities for integration that will improve SCB platform estate.
Support and enable GAMs/RMs in fostering deep client relationships and positioning SCB as their preferred Digital partner.
Support GAMs/RMs in increasing wallet share through system integrations and cross sell
Position SCB as trusted advisor and partner for high value New Economy and Global Corporates.
Target KPIs for addressable wallet, wallet share, number of product and markets enabled.
Benchmark wallet share against peers and establish industry leadership in core markets.
Through best in class execution and solutioning help CCIB Digital and CCIB Business stakeholders, alongside other key stakeholders, drive digital transformation and establish Standard Chartered as the leading digital banking platform providing services to our Network powering global trade, commerce and financial services to companies around the world.
Continuously review and develop team client engagement /service metrics, monitor performance results, and implement appropriate actions in response.
