JOBSUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Project Manager reports to theExecutive Associate Dean and is responsible for managing and providingoversight for the College of Dentistry's projects and clinical implementations,as well as communications and human resource needs. Offers leadership andguidance in tracking and ensuring timely completion of projects for theacademic leadership within the College of Dentistry.
Establishes realistic timelines for projects; designates and assigns appropriate resources; monitors progress; and ensures stakeholders are informed throughout the process.
Manages project scope and risk mitigation for academic project implementation.
Coordinates with both internal resources (both College of Dentistry and University) and third-party vendors.
Coordinates and tracks applications to the accrediting body CODA for additional/updated academic dental offerings.
Supports the Executive Associate Dean and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs within the College of Dentistry with all administrative needs, such as scheduling meetings, drafting documents, managing calendars, as needed.
Orders instruments for dental courses and ensures course directors provide updated instrument/supply lists.
Provides faculty documents and updates appointment letters.
Drafts correspondence/legal documents for review by academic departments/other associate deans.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
