Full-time Faculty, Associate Degree Radiologic Technology Program

MCCC/MTA Unit Position
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists the Program Director in assuring that the Radiologic Technology program meets standards established by the college and the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) by planning, implementing, and continuously evaluating program outcomes.
Develop, implement, assess, and revise all aspects of clinical education.
Perform clinical visits to monitor students performance and clinical needs.
Assures that each clinical site offers the variety of experiences necessary to achieve program goals and outcomes and assists in recruiting additional clinical sites.
Teaches classroom lectures/seminars and labs using the digital radiography equipment and PACS.
Participates in the recruiting and admissions process of students.
Orders and oversees radiation monitoring devices for students.
Maintains a current knowledge of the field of Radiologic Technology.
Participates in curriculum development, program accreditation, evaluation of students, clinical simulation instruction, student advising, and program and college committees.
Performs other duties as outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.
SALARY: Anticipated salary range is $44,168.00-$57,000.00 per year, plus fringe benefits. Actual salary will be determined in accordance with the classification system of the MCCC/MTA Agreement based on the candidate's academic credentials, related experience, related licenses and certifications.

STARTING DATE: September 1, 2020

Applicants selected for an interview will need to provide unofficial transcripts or foreign degree evaluations and the name, address, email and telephone number of at least three current professional references to Human Resources before the interview takes place.
Must have a minimum of an earned Associate's Degree in Radiological Technology and Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited academic institution recognized by the U.S Department of Education.
Must be proficient in curriculum development, assessment of student learner outcomes, instruction, evaluation and academic advising.
Must have a minimum of two years clinical experience as an R.T(R)
Must have a minimum of one year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program.
Must hold a current and valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registration in Radiologic Technology, along with a current and valid Massachusetts license in Radiologic Technology.
Must demonstrate proficiency in the use of digital radiography and PACS.
Strong interpersonal skills and successful experience interacting with culturally diverse populations.
Knowledge and experience with the use of patient simulators and technology preferred.
Preferred experience with online, hybrid or video conferencing teaching.
Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or a National background check as a condition of employment.
