As part of Actuarial Department, you will work in collaboration with business stakeholders across the organization (including Digital Transformation Office) to deliver innovative and competitive propositions in meeting emerging customer needs of today's digital economy.
You will be part of a dynamic team that adopts design thinking and agile framework in delivering output to our stakeholders, leverages latest technology to digitize actuarial processes, and constantly challenges status quo of actuarial profession.
You will be responsible to:
Collaborate with others in Agile team structure to understand customer needs, devise innovative product proposition and help drive product prototyping & implementation (by applying design thinking framework)
Manage and price the risk of innovative products by balancing product desirability, feasibility, and viability
Leverage machine learning and advance analytics technique to provide new insights to the business as well as to develop dynamic pricing that optimizes customer lifetime value
Lead and drive collaboration with business stakeholders in pricing initiatives of General Insurance and other short term products
Diverse pricing exposure to variety of products across various distribution channels
Good progress in actuarial qualifications with either US, UK, or Australia Actuarial Institutes
At least 7 years of relevant experience with exposure in Direct GI, Insurtech or related companies
Programming proficiency (such as R or Python) will be advantageous
Advanced statistical or machine learning modeling skills
Prior experience in dynamic online, general insurance pricing model preferred
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Strong team player who is adaptable, open to a dynamic working environment and willing to explore new ways of working
