The Role Responsibilities
The Employee Experience team is expanding and is looking for a senior UX strategist to join the team, working on a wide range of projects and services for Standard Chartered employees.
As part of the Employee Experience team you will be responsible for setting up the time on what experiences our employees should expect during their employment life cycle at the bank. This will involve defining strategies on how to execute best in class UX, and galvanise the organisation behind it.
This is a role for a candidate with an ethnographic research or service design background interested in people, or with a background in HR or consulting interested in design.
Understand our customer insights holistically by connecting various ongoing research into a single perspective
Identify design opportunities & problems our users are facing that can range from cultural, behavioural, or systemic to the business, and develop solutions to counter them
Measure the value of experiences, and the impact it has on the business
Understand the competitive landscape
Drive thought leadership in the organisation to transform it into becoming experience focused
Drive and improve the overall UX practice with the Head of Employee Experience

Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Our Ideal Candidate
6-8 years experience of relevant experience working in UX research, design, or strategy
Demonstrable UX design experience, preferably designing complex solutions for complete digital environments, with extensive experience in using UX design best practices and a strong understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
User-centred design skills, including delivery of user research and testing, A/B testing, prototyping, usability and accessibility assessment
Expertise in standard UX software. Adobe, In Design, JIRA, Excel and Power Point
Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational and time keeping skills
Detail-oriented self-starter, capable of staying on track and pursuing solutions without supervision
Ability to work with stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experience that meet business needs and vision
A team player, who is culturally aware and able to work within ambiguous environments
Self development of skills to keep up to date with fast changing trends
