SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER , Alumni Association (MITAA) , to work to develop high-caliber, compelling digital and print communications and marketing pieces. Will implement consistent MITAA and MIT graphic identity standards across all media and collaborate with Strategic Communications and Marketing (SCM) colleagues and internal clients within the MITAA in managing giving campaigns, including direct response marketing, engagement programs, and ad hoc projects; and work closely with colleagues across SCM, Annual Fund, Resource Development, and across campus to implement and support a focused communications and marketing strategy that advances the MITAA and MIT toward the goal of engaging the MIT community of alumni and friends. Will report to the SCM creative director.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : bachelor's degree in a related field; at least three years' experience working in a studio, consultancy, or in-house capacity; expert-level knowledge of graphic design, typography, color theory and management, design software, print and digital/mobile design, and front-end web development and production; familiarity with HTML, CSS, UX, mobile, and responsive design best practices; experience preparing files and working with offset and digital print vendors and web developers; expert-level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, MS Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with content management systems, digital asset management systems, and online collaboration and project management software; and excellent organizational, interpersonal, customer service, and verbal and written communication skills; ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines while paying close attention to detail.
