About the Role
Internally known as Collections Manager 2. He/she will manage 2 Lines of Business for Wells Fargo Commercial Capital Collections process as part of Collections Center of Excellence (COE) for the Commercial Banking segment of Wells Fargo in Manila. The candidate will be responsible for directing and developing programs and policies for the collections functions within Wells Fargo Commercial Capital businesses – Capital Finance and Equipment Finance.
Creating initiatives/programs to support business goals and collections objectives.
Analyzing service standards, market trends, and emerging issues to develop new business strategies. Improving group performance; directing other managers as needed to accomplish goals
Managing implementation efforts; resolving complex problems or inquiries; ensuring overall compliance with government regulations and company policies.
Market Skills and Certifications
College graduate with Bachelor's Degree in Business and/or Finance
At least 5 years of Financial or Banking Operations background in Wholesale, Commercial or Corporate and Investment Banking
Has excellent stakeholder management, problem solving skills and analysis
Amenable to work on the night shift and holidays
Relevant experience in managing a high performing collections team and knowledge of various stages of delinquency (from pre-charge to recovery)
Knowledge of collections state laws like FDCPA, Regulatory disclosures, TCPA, etc.
Experience in one or a combination of collections or customer service
Experience in any of the following: operation excellence, lean-six sigma, automation, etc.
