The close knit, enthusiastic team at Delaney Veterinary Services is looking for veterinarians with a passion for equine practice.
During your internship program, you will be working with our team of six veterinarian's (including one board-certified surgeon, one board eligible surgeon, two ambulatory clinicians, one reproduction clinician, one rehabilitation specialist and one other interns), seven technologists/tech assistants, two receptionists, one practice manager, plus barn staff and many valued part time staff, students and volunteers.
Our state of the art, surgical facility features digital ultrasonography and radiography; lameness locator; dynamic scope as well as video endoscopy (1M and 3M); digital reproductive ultrasounds; powerfloats and powered lights; HVMS billing software; 20 "soft" stalls (including foaling stalls); isolation stalls; 30+ turn out pens and pastures; an indoor round pen and outside riding arena for lameness evaluation; an indoor collection dummy, and an on-site race track. We provide regenerative therapy including; pro-stride, IRAP, PRP, Stem Cell, and Amnion treatments. We also have a significant reproduction operation that includes all aspects of AI from collection to freezing, breeding and embryo transfer. Our rehabilitation area provides acupuncture, chiropractics, functional assessments and physiotherapy applications.

This internship program will allow you to pursue all aspects of equine practice in an intense caseload environment under the guidance of experienced equine veterinarians. Duties will include in clinic patient care, surgical and anesthesia assistance, all aspects of ambulatory practice including lameness work ups, dental herd health, reproduction, imaging, ultrasonography and rehabilitation.
Emergency call duties are divided among the doctors in the clinic.
