Responsible for all assigned video and audio products from concept development to production and distribution, working in cooperation with clients to develop goals, program ideas, program proposals and narratives, budgets, production plans, and distribution methods. Position utilizes an understanding and skill in the use of digital video and audio equipment, html embedding, video streaming, journalism, agriculture and the mission of the land-grant university. Duties will include live video shooting, audio and radio production, television and educational video production, interview and segment production, scriptwriting, electronic field production, live streaming, and graphics production.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in video production, broadcast production, broadcast journalism, communications, film or related field plus one year of experience producing video (writing, shooting, lighting, editing) and audio (writing, recording, editing) for distribution via broadcast or the internet. Knowledge of radio and video news writing, reporting, and production; professional audio and video production; and professional media software (Final Cut, Motion, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and/or Audition). Ability to work well with people. Leadership, project management, communication (oral and written), time management, and decision making skills.
Experience with video production (writing, shooting, lighting, editing) for broadcast news, an agricultural news program, or an agricultural communications organization. Knowledge of agriculture and agricultural issues; website management including HTML and CSS; and live-streaming video over the internet.
