Viewpoint ePayments – powered by Nvoicepay – revolutionizes how AP payments are managed for the construction industry. This Sales Representative position will function as a solution specialist who accelerates sales of the Viewpoint ePayments for existing and prospective Viewpoint Spectrum clients. Success in this position requires the ability to conduct client discovery, make sales presentations, and help close new business opportunities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Participates in Business Development Activities. Builds awareness about Viewpoint ePayments solution within a group of assigned construction firms. Awareness building is achieved through phone contacts, mailings, discovery meetings and software presentations.
Works closely with strategic partner, Nvoicepay, Viewpoint Sales and Marketing teams to develop a highly targeted account strategy that reflects an understanding of customers’ current process for managing the AP payments.
Builds awareness with Viewpoint customer-facing departments about the ePayments solution and its key benefits.
Conducts joint campaigns with the Viewpoint sales organization to support ViewpointOne new logo sales and transformation opportunities.
Conducts in-depth discovery for targeted accounts in order to uncover business opportunities.
Works closely with sales team at Nvoicepay to move opportunities through the sales cycle to close.
Develops attack plans for assigned opportunities.
Effectively manages a sales pipeline and achieve sales targets and forecasts.
Prepares clear, concise, and professional presentations to prospective and existing customers.
Responds to RFI’s (Request for Information) and RFP’s (Request for Proposal).
Provides regular reports on sales activities, results and forecast.
Provides market feedback and accurate forecasting to the management team to optimize strategy and positioning of offerings.
Provides product demonstrations, both web-based and on-site.
Attends trade shows and industry conventions.
Assists with after-sale issues within Viewpoint’s customers based including collections, training/implementation, software functionality, etc.
4+ Years sales experience, preferably SaaS or financial services solutions
Proven record as a sales associate in a prior sales position that would demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the product being sold.
Strong experience selling directly to finance/accounting executives.
CPA a plus
Core understanding and working knowledge of the construction industry with a focus on heavy/highway construction a plus
General business knowledge and understanding of accounting, job cost, and project management principles and practices.
This position requires up to 50% travel.
