Reporting to the Executive Director of Enterprise and Infrastructure Systems, the Director of IT Applications and Infrastructure is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Enterprise Applications and Infrastructure teams and is a member of the Information Technology leadership team. In addition, the Director is responsible for ensuring both teams are integrated under a single, strategic leadership model, with a vision of supporting the needs of all University users. This position manages a portfolio of projects that provide innovative, cost effective and stable services in support of the University mission and requires strong emotional intelligence, excellent management skills, mentorship, communication, a commitment to excellent customer service, project and financial planning. Must possess an extensive and wide-ranging technical knowledge and the ability to clearly articulate technical information and technical analysis with key stake holders across the campus.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in management information systems, computer science, business administration, or a closely related field, with ten years of computing technology experience, or an equivalent combination of education and technology experience in an academic environment.
5 or more years of experience managing and leading technical professionals.
Extensive project management experience.
Experience with ITSM or related service life cycle methodologies.
