This position provides program coordination and direction for University Extended Education (UEE) to manage and expand its capacity to serve off-campus, online education students and growing enrollments for UEE programs for adult learners and working professionals. This position works out of the Edina campus. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, developing, managing, and marketing courses, programs, workshops and trainings, as well as coordinating credit and non-credit training opportunities and grants management.
Bachelor's Degree (conferred on an official transcript at the time of application).
Minimum of five (5) years of professional, full-time experience in project management, program development, office management, website updates and maintenance, marketing, sales, resource development, higher education and online education.
Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.
Direct experience working with extended education and/or adult based courses/programs.
Knowledge of the policies and procedures necessary to coordinator the development and scheduling of courses and programs, including managing off-campus facilities, technologies, and staff.
Knowledge and expertise to understand, interpret, and integrate data and data systems to expand the capacity of extended education to serve and market needs.
Ability to effectively track information and to generate appropriate and timely reports using technology and appropriate software applications.
Knowledge of resource development, including grant writing and management.
Superior attention to details and organization.
Demonstrated ability to successfully negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve assigned department objectives.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and partner with a variety of constituents.
Demonstrated project management and technical support skills.
Experience with budgeting, financial reporting and basic accounting, preferably in a higher education setting.
Strong customer development and service experience.
Demonstrated understanding of strategic planning and implementation of programs and/or services.
Experience in marketing including publications, direct mail, websites, and social media, such as Facebook and LinkedIn.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Be able to engage in collaborative, innovative problem solving with a variety of stakeholders.
Knowledge of online and off-campus programs, policies and procedures.
Direct experience in managing off-campus educational operations.
Work safely at all times, which includes but is not limited to, participating and completing all required safety trainings, as well as performing all job tasks in accordance with Minnesota State University, Mankato policies and procedures utilizing appropriate tools, equipment and personal protective equipment.
