Directly responsible for implementing and managing AHIP IT projects including web site development, IT infrastructure, and other technology solutions. Lead IT project teams to execute technology projects that will be in line with AHIP’s project objectives. Key function of the job is to apply formal project management tools and processes to each assigned project.
This role also reviews and analyzes various informational, performance and variance data about all IT initiatives; identifies and tracks trends; and raises actual and potential issues and problems to Supervisor for action and decision making.

Provide Project Management/Planning for all IT related projects. Applies formal project management processes in coordination with assigned technology projects.
Work directly with the Information Technology Management to develop business strategy and prioritize project delivery.
Responsible for maintaining full documentation on implementation projects to include timelines, user testing plans, testing validation results, and transition plans.
Manage project deliverables, goals, milestones and finances. Ensure that the project progresses on time and on budget.
Coordinates meeting schedules, timeline and progress updates for all project team members. Define strategies for governance, risk mitigation and contingency planning.
Design and maintain project reporting documentation.
Develops requirements for major IT initiatives through analysis gathering.
Serves as an internal IT analyst on initial project scoping for non-IT departments.
Interface with AHIP employees and external vendors to develop, implement, and manage multiple IT projects.
Define resources and schedules for project/program implementation
Efficiently identify, manage, and solve project issues
Develop Requests for Proposals for external services
Ensure project legal documents are completed and signed
Other duties as assigned.
This position has no supervisory responsibility
Preferred Education and Experience
Project Management Certification preferred.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., however may require long hours and weekend work.
No travel is required with this position.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
3 or more years’ experience in IT Project Management experience
Scheduling and budgeting experienced
Experienced in managing vendor relationships.
Thorough Knowledge of project management concepts and techniques.
General knowledge of hosting environments, cloud computing, network infrastructure, ecommerce functionality, analytics, fulfillment systems, and customer management systems.
Is detail-oriented, has excellent organizational, analytical, writing and communication skills, and work well in a team environment.
Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes suggestions for change.
Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
Communicates effectively with business stakeholders.
