BB&N is seeking a Director of Alumni/ae Engagement and Giving. As a key member of the Advancement Office, this individual will be responsible for designing and implementing programs to increase overall alumni/ae engagement and donor support from BB&N's alumni/ae. The Director will manage a portfolio of 50-75 leadership prospects and will collaborate on developing strategic programming, events, and solicitation strategies to increase alumni/ae participation in The BB&N Fund. This individual will also oversee the Assistant Director of Alumni/ae Programs.
Key Responsibilities include:
Work with team members to develop strategic, content driven programs that promote meaningful connections and enhanced philanthropic support from BB&N alumni/ae while elevating the visibility of BB&N throughout the alumni/ae community.
Responsible for volunteer recruitment, management, and program design for the Alumni/ae Council, its subcommittees, and other volunteer groups as needed. Will serve as the primary staff liaison for Alumni/ae Council members and other key volunteers.
Actively supports and promotes the School’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Global Education mission and initiatives in all facets of the role.
Work closely with the Assistant Director of Alumni/ae Programs and the Events Manager, to oversee the planning of Strawberry Night/Reunion Weekend, Golden Alumni/ae Luncheon, Homecoming, Head of the Charles reception, the Lifer Party, regional events and other events as needed.
Manage a portfolio of 50-75 leadership gift prospects which may include alumni/ae, current parents, and parents of alumni/ae.
Conduct regular prospect visits relating to discovery, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship with the goal of securing major and planned gifts of $10,000 or more to the school.
Manage several reunions, including volunteer/committee management and support, and soliciting gifts as part of the reunion effort.
Provide staff support to Head of School, Chief Advancement Officer, and other administrators at events across the country.
Oversee the maintenance of the alumni/ae website content and the online community directory to ensure that information is updated in a timely fashion.
Work closely with the Director of Digital Engagement on social media sites.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of Alumni/ae Program work combined with leadership gift solicitation experience. A Bachelor's degree is required and a Master’s degree is preferred.

Ability and willingness to travel and occasionally work weekends and evenings required.
Strong computer skills and database experience required.
