The Role Responsibilities
The Vendor Manager markets supply chain finance solutions to Suppliers of our Buyer clients. The VMT's primary purpose is to market Vendor Prepay, aka Payables Finance programs and enrol suppliers nominated by our Buyer clients. VMTs are expected to perform supplier analysis, define supplier marketing and enrolment strategy specific to each program. VMTs focus on active supplier calling to maximize supplier program sign up ratio. VMTs deploy different marketing techniques tailor made to each program to facilitate interest and program utilization.
Core value proposition of Vendor Manager:
Proactive marketing SCF proposition to targeted suppliers
Support Senior VMT to enrol suppliers in a quick and easy manner
Coordinate with various internal teams to ensure system readiness of enrolled suppliers
Leverage digital tools, i.e. On line supplier enrolment portal or VPP Mobile App to enhance supplier experience
Support Senior VMT to manage Vendor Prepay program to maximize revenue
Internal: other VMTs, Implementation, Relationship Manager, Product, Compliance and Legal
External: VPP suppliers
Handle supplier docs in support of VPP program booked in the U.S.
Our Ideal Candidate
Good sales and interpersonal skills with an ability and knowledge to articulate supply chain finance program benefits
Detail oriented with good client and documentation handling experience
Team player and can work with virtual team in other regions to ensure bank delivers its commitment
Language skill - fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
Minimum 5 years work experience in banking or other relevant financing/credit/sales roles
