The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for working collaboratively with diverse internal, campus, and external partners and stakeholders to ensure the upkeep and care of the Libraries highly active and visible spaces at the academic heart of campus. Responsibilities include overseeing and/or coordinating all aspects of facilities and furnishings repairs, maintenance, renovations, moves, and projects, as well as building safety, security, access, and compliance for the eight libraries locations. Additionally, the position is responsible for managing the Libraries repairs and maintenance budget and working with vendors, other departments on campus, procurement, and Libraries business center to contract for and procure relevant goods and services in accordance with applicable University and Libraries policies and procedures. The Facilities Coordinator is proactive and detail oriented with strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and reports to the Libraries Chief Operating Officer & Business Officer.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Facilities Management or related field plus four (4) year experience in Facilities management field; equivalent relevant experience may be substituted. Work history will demonstrate: Ability to work collaboratively with diverse partners and stakeholders; Knowledge of facilities maintenance and operations; Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply applicable laws, rules, and regulations; Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to understand and solve complex problems and make sound judgments; Demonstrated computer skills including email, spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software; Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance; Demonstrated commitment to and support for a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Ideal candidate will have Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management or related field. Knowledge of budgeting and procurement principles and practices; Experience in a higher education environment or complex shared environment with multiple departments and centralized functions; Experience with libraries facilities or operations; Experience with ADA, OSHA, EHS, Fire Life Safety, and/or Clery Act reporting;Experience with managing budgets or procurement of goods and services.
