Part Time or Full Time - Any experience level considered
DVM or equivalent
Franktown Animal Clinic is looking for an experienced full- or part-time associate veterinarian. We have been providing expert veterinary care in the Southeast Denver area since 1990. Our new medical center is one of the largest and best-equipped in the Denver area. But it’s our people who make the difference. We have a strong belief in treating patients, clients and staff with compassion and respect. Our veterinarians are able to focus on being doctors because they are supported by a highly-trained staff. We take pride in our extensive knowledge and application of both conventional Western medical therapies as well as alternative treatments such as acupuncture, laser therapy and natural remedies. Our practice is fully equipped with digital radiography and digital dental radiography, ultrasound, full surgical suite, Idexx in house lab equipment and DVMax practice management software. Our close tie with emergency and referral hospitals enables our doctors to enjoy no after hour emergency or on-call shifts. We are closed Sundays.
We’ve taken care of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit dogs and therapy dogs for almost 20 years and are co-founders of Friends of Douglas County K-9, a charity that raises money exclusively for the care of K-9s.
Applicants must possess a Doctoral degree (DVM) and be licensed to practice in the State of Colorado. Salary is commensurate with experience. You will enjoy excellent benefits including health and dental insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contribution, paid personal time off, and a CE and travel allowance.
Please send cover letter and resume to our Managing Partner, Dr. Kim Vanderholm at [email protected]. We look forward to hearing from you!
