Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Project Manager for the Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research.
Under the direction of the supervisor at the Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day research project operations, including, but not limited to: training and supervising research staff, managing project datasets, conducting analyses, and handling IRB submissions. The Project Manager will assist with grant and manuscript preparation activities, as assigned.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Manages project data (e.g., data management, statistical analysis, data visualization); generates metrics to evaluate project goals, objectives and outcomes.
Prepares slides, graphs, figures, tables and other visual aids.
Trains project staff on study protocols to achieve reliability.
Responsible for handling IRB submissions.
Reconciles study budget and tracks expenses. **Prepares Grant and progress report activities, as assigned.
Assists with manuscript submissions (e.g., literature search, compile reference list).
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree plus 6 years of progressively more responsible experience.
A minimum of four (4) years of professional experience in program planning and development.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to lead and manage others without a direct reporting relationship.
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Strong computer and organizational skills, including skills in data management and analysis.
May need to work occasional evenings and weekends
