My client is a global financial services business covering fund services, bank account opening, custody and depository. With over 40 offices globally, the Asian business has a strong focus to grow following the demand increase.
Responsible for the onboarding and integration of new Fund Services clients in the APAC region
Coordinate the Regional Client Acceptance process in the region to ensure all proposals are supported by relevant documentation, reviewed and approved before distribution to clients
Be part of the Regional Client Acceptance Committee (R-CAC) that will make decisions to accept, reject or refer high risk proposals to the Group Client Acceptance Committee (G-CAC). The candidate will be responsible for liaising with the G-CAC on high risk proposals
Responsible for liaising with local office onboarding leads to project manage all new fund launches and transitions regionally, this will include coordination of client adoptions, account openings, review and negotiation of funds offering documentation and legal agreements and internal system set ups
Coordinate internal functions to onboard new clients including Service Delivery Teams, Sales, Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams to ensure all new launches and conversions are successfully project managed.
Ensure regular status updates are provided to new clients. Regular project calls should be scheduled with stakeholders and project plans should be maintained to track progress.
Work closely with the Global Head of Onboarding to provide updates to senior management and client services teams on integration projects; production of the regional WIP tracker for all local offices and other KPIs / management reports as required.
Work with the Global Head of Onboarding to develop best practices and operating models for integration to enhance the client onboarding experience; ensure all local and Group onboarding KYC policies/ procedures are strictly adhered to
Support sales and operations in preparation of client risk assessments, request for proposals (RFPs), sales presentations, technical product support and delivering product demonstrations to prospective clients
Assist with the integration of new acquired businesses into the Apex Group to ensure a consistent approach is applied across acquired entities from an onboarding perspective, and
Support ad hoc projects as required and roll out of onboarding procedures for new product lines, etc.
The ideal candidate must have an excellent knowledge of funds industry and will have experience working on Hedge and private equity funds
Experience of different fund structures, domicile and regulatory requirements is an advantage
Experience/knowledge of Custody/Depository services is an advantage
You should have strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. The ability to speak local languages is an advantage. The candidate must be able to work on their own initiative
Possess project management skills
Knowledge of Investran, Advent Geneva, Mantra, Paxus, eFront and other fund accounting systems would be an advantage
