This Digital Access Liaison will be responsible for:
The Digital Health Accelerator team is looking to hire a cohort of professionals with BCH operations experience (current or prior) to help support two collaborating initiatives: Digital 2.0 and Front-End Redesign.
Digital 2.0 is a collaboration across Boston Children's clinical, administrative and technical teams to accelerate existing and new digital initiatives that support unified access and experience, improved outcomes and financial health.
Front-end Redesign is a related initiative with the mission of implementing patient-driven processes related to scheduling, registration, financial clearance, and data collection through enhanced and customer-friendly technology.
Access Liaisons will support clinical service areas in the adoption of new technologies to help improve the patient and referring provider experience while reducing administrative burden. The Liaison will be responsible for coordinating process improvement and change initiatives related to digital 2.0 and Front-end Redesign, including:
Supporting clinics in the improvement of critical clinical, operational and business processes
Driving continuous process improvement
Providing access to product solutions and utilizing recognized process improvement methodologies and tools, throughout the financial function areas
Support development of training materials and facilitate sessions to train area staff and clients in new processes and operations
Coordinate across disparate activities
Engaging clinics in redesign
Supporting integration into workflows
Providing access to MVP solutions while soliciting input for next generation monitor identified performance metrics
Presenting front-line level presentations
This position will serve as a key liaison to 4-5 departments and will work independently under broad, general supervision.
This position will be hired into the Innovation and Digital Health Accelerator team, but will have dual reporting into leads for both Digital 2.0 and Front End Redesign, and will be advised by leads across Access, ISD, Epic teams, Patient Care Operations, Finance and others
To qualify, you must have:
Bachelor's degree in a health care related field, finance, business, quality, or directly related field.
3 years of experience working in a clinic-operations role
Boston Children's experience preferred but not required, directly related work experience with process mapping and improvement a plus.
Knowledge and experience is required in process improvement working within enterprise-wide clinical and administrative systems, such as Cerner and/or Epic preferred.
