Fairland Animal Hospital, located in Silver Spring, MD, is looking for a full time Veterinarian. We are an established, busy, full service small animal hospital, serving Silver Spring and the surrounding areas since 1989. We are in a beautiful new facility equipped with in-house laboratory, digital radiology, and a therapeutic laser. Our team is dedicated to providing superb customer service and the best quality medical care that is personal and practical, in a comfortable setting. We are looking for someone not only with a strong interest in surgery and general medicine, but also in building strong relationships with our clients. No after-hour emergencies. Responsibilities:
Perform Surgical Procedures, physical examinations, and diagnostic and medical procedures.
Effectively communicate to the client a diagnosis of the pet’s problem, present a treatment plan, and educate clients on preventative health care.
Partner with technicians and reception to maintain and track client/patient records.
Stay up to date with knowledge on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
Other duties as assigned.
