The Deamer Group is currently in search of an innovative, compassionate and detail oriented Writing Program Support Coach. Position Summary The Writing Program Support Coach works under the direction of the Lead Writing Coach. They work with Dyslexic and out of the box learners, kindergarten through the 12th grade providing online tutoring and support. The Writing Program Support Coach also provides biweekly guided study sessions with high school integrated students in Liberal Studies. They work in conjunction with the parent supporting the students which provides a more holistic approach toward the student's success.
A successful candidate will have experience tutoring or teaching children in Writing and is OG certified with experience in e-learning preferred. Someone who is compassionate; thoughtful in their approach, laughs at mistakes and views them as teachable moments. This individual must also be comfortable working with a diverse population.
Writing tutoring/teaching experience, essay level a must/OG experience preferred.
9:30am to 10:30am Central time availability Wednesday & Friday a must.
Familiar with Bloom's Taxonomy a plus.
Experience with E-learning preferred.
Personal laptop/desktop required.
Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written required.
Excellent telephone communication skills.
Reliable internet & phone connection.
Maintains accurate records.
Experience with Google Suite.
Familiar with HubSpot a plus.
Tech savvy, accountable and teachable, willing to learn about WTS programs.
Facilitate weekly small group webcam class using provided lessons.
Facilitate 1 on 1 coaching sessions with students and their parents as scheduled.
Review of the student's completed digital assignments.
Provide bi-weekly assistance to high school integrated Liberal Studies students with note taking and assignment completion.
Maintain positive working relationships with our parent partners while maintaining the integrity and mission of the organization.
Perform other duties as assigned.
