Temporary Job Description:
Northwestern University is seeking to hire a part-time Research Assistant (RA) to assist with projects related to digital mental health interventions. The RA will assist with projects centering on digital mental health tools. Duties will include managing participant recruitment, obtaining informed consent, tracking enrollment and participation in a database, and dispensing participant payments for a series of online focus groups and interviews with young adults. The RA will be the main point of contact for participants, and will be expected to answer questions in a timely and professional manner. The RA may also assist with conducting participant interviews, co-facilitating online design workshops, pilot testing and debugging surveys, data entry, literature reviews, qualitative data coding, and writing and editing content for texting-based interventions.
**The RA will be expected to join regular Zoom meetings with the research team (about 3 hours/week) and to complete study management tasks on a daily basis Monday-Friday, but his or her schedule is otherwise flexible.
A bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Strong communication skills.
High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
Diligent and can work independently.
Prior social science or clinical research experience involving human subjects.
Experience with RedCap and/or Qualtrics survey platforms is preferred.
MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
