Seeking associate veterinarian for companion animal practice in Laytonsville, Maryland for well established, busy practice. Looking to add a fifth veterinarian as we continue to serve the community in this "new normal" climate, which, we've found, takes more time with each patient than before. Our COVID 19 protocols are strict, to protect our staff.
The team at Laytonsville Veterinary Practice strives to provide the very best medicine and surgery for our patients, and uphold strong standards of care. We have all the equipment you need to practice excellent quality veterinary medicine, including a full in-house laboratory, tonopens, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, five anesthesia machines, three dental machines, a newly upgraded ulltrasound, and surgical laser. We do most of our own soft tissue surgery, and enjoy good relationships with the many boarded specialists in the area for cardiac, neuro, orthopedic, derm and other referrals. There is a live-in technician in the building at night to oversee hospitalized patients, and some thirty total employees. Associates are strongly encouraged to develop a niche within the practice, and we will send you to continuing ed to pursue your special interest. We also strongly believe in the value of all of our associates being adept at abdominal ultrasonography, and send all new associates for training on ultrasound.
Laytonsville is an affluent, suburban/rural area close to DC and Baltimore, with good schools and a variety of opportunities locally to enjoy the outdoors.
