This position is responsible for establishing, stewarding, and managing partnerships with employers to generate and support successful job placement opportunities for YJC program participants Builds trusting relationships internally and externally to identify areas of improvement in pre-employment training, as well as employer best practices for supporting youth on the job. Participates and directs training youth, specific to employer hiring needs. Conducts on-site visits, employer presentations, and hiring events in support of the employer outreach strategy. Works with both Career Advisors and participants to ensure strong and sustainable job placements.
· Build and sustain trusting relationships with employer partners
· Solicit feedback and engage employer partners in program planning for continuous improvement
· Develop segmentation of employers based on their ability to work closely with YJC, modify supports for placements and integrate employer best practices
· In partnership with key employers, implement best practices for training, placement, orientation and on-the-job support
